Proud gay woman who gets immense reward from helping those less fortunate as much as working full-time allows. I am a Trustee of New Beginnings Peer Support in Harrogate.

I am a parent of a 26-year-old daughter with a disability, so I understand the challenges of advocating for their needs. I have also worked for the NHS for 21 years and hold an NVQ Level 3 in Administration.

I have worked in adult social care since 1998 starting as a Domestic Assistant in a residential home in Northumberland to managing the care home in 4 years.

I live in North Wales and hold a BSc in Software Engineering from Manchester Metropolitan University. Currently, I am pursuing a degree in Marine Engineering.
